‘Abiqua Drinking Gourd’ – Deeply cupped blue-green foliage; leaf size is 11”x11”; forms a 24”x48” mound; near-white flowers from late June into mid-July; slow grower.
‘Allegan Fog’ – 18x40” mound of wavy variegated foliage; Leaves white with green speckles and streaks in the center, medium green along the margin, 8” long by 4” wide, Pale lavender flowers from early to late July.
‘All That Jazz’ – Large, semi-upright mound of foliage that is yellow-margined with a shiny dark green center; Leaf blade very broadly ovate with a distinct tip, deeply lobed base, and slightly wavy margin with pure white flowers from June to July.
‘American Icon’ – Green-centered, gold-margined foliage; grows into a large mound and produces pale lavender flowers in July.
‘American Sweetheart’ – Large mound of center-variegated foliage; 24” high by 40” wide with leaves 11” long by 8” wide; Leaf center changes from creamy yellow to white; Lavender flowers produced from late July into August.
‘Ann Kulpa’ – Medium-sized mound of white-centered foliage; 19” high by 44” wide; Leaf size 11” long by 8” wide with a 3” wide, medium to dark green margin that produces light green streaks into the yellow to creamy white center; Leaf blade ovate-shaped and slightly wavy, near-white flower in mid-July.
‘Atlantis’ – This exceptional sport of 'Abba Dabba Do' features long, dark green ruffled leaves with a dramatic golden-yellow margin. Over time this vigorous selection can form a majestic clump up to 5-feet wide. Light lavender flowers in midsummer. Grows 24”
‘Baby Bunting’ – Has small, green, round heart-shaped leaves with bell-shaped pale lavender flowers in midsummer. 'Baby Bunting' is excellent as a miniature specimen or used as a ground cover . It is one of the best miniature hostas. Grows 4-6”
‘Big Daddy’- Large mound of heavily corrugated, blue-green foliage; mound is 25’ high by 66” wide with leaves 15” long by 10 ½” wide; leaf color is deep blue-green that turns deep green by late summer; broadly ovate leaves with some cupping; intense corrugation; near-white flowers from mid-June to early July on scapes from 24-32”.
‘Blazing Saddles’ - This beautiful bold hosta is a seedling from 'Blue Umbrellas'. The 4-foot clump is comprised of large, oblong leaves with a nice wide creamy-white edge. Medium lavender flowers top the broad clump in mid season. 'Blazing Saddles' is a great combination of vigor and unusual leaf shape. Grows 12-18”
‘Blue Angel’ - This fantastic cultivar is everyone's favorite large blue. Probably the largest blue hosta known, this industry standard produces huge blue leaves with a heavy texture and many near white hyacinth-like flowers in midsummer. Grows 18-24”
‘Blue Cadet’- Fast growing, dense mound of heart-shaped, blue-green foliage, mound is 15” high by 38” wide with leaves 5 ¼” long by 4” wide; slightly corrugated; funnel-shaped purplish lavender flowers on many 14-21” scapes for most of July.
‘Blue Dolphin’ - This selection has rounded, heart-shaped leaves with heavily impressed veins. Of special note is the unique blue-green color especially noticeable in lower light. Pale lavender flowers top the 3-foot clump in summer. Grows 18-24”
‘Blue Hawaii’ - This upright vase-shaped blue hosta displays wonderful blue corrugated leaves with the classic heart-shape leaf. White flowers top the clump in early summer. Grows 24-30”
‘Blue Jay’ - This upright vase-shaped blue hosta displays wonderful blue corrugated leaves with the classic heart-shape leaf. White flowers top the clump in early summer. Grows 8-10”
‘Blue Mammoth’ - A powdered blue giant with heavily corrugated leaves and stately near white bell-shaped flowers during the summer. 'Blue Mammoth' works well as a specimen or as a mass planting in a background setting. This massive hosta can reach 5-feet across at maturity. Grows 30-36”
‘Blue Maui’- Medium sized mound of dark green foliage that starts out bluish; leaves are 6 ½” long by 6 ½” wide; heavily corrugated; near-white flowers in July.
‘Blue Mouse Ears’ - Small, round, gray-green leaves are comprised of substance so thick you have to feel it to believe it. Lavender flowers on short scapes, proportionate to the clump, top it in midsummer. Grows 5-6”
‘Blue River’- Blue-green, yellow margined leaf with large mound of foliage and near-white flowers from mid-June into July.
‘Blue Umbrellas’ - This early Aden introduction has shiny blue-green leaves that will reach immense proportions. With its rapid growth rate and huge size it will quickly become a giant. Lavender flowers in early summer. Grows 30-36”
‘Bright Lights’ - This vigorous Tokudama type with thick heart-shaped leaves is probably one of the best variegated Tokudama on the market. Puckered gold leaves with a streaky blue margin draw garden visitors like a magnet. This choice hosta has white bell-shaped flowers in midsummer. Grows 12-15”
‘Brother Stefan’ - Large, heavily corrugated gold leaves with a wide dark green margin. It is a moderate grower with near white flowers top the thick leaves in early summer. Grows 12-18”
‘Bulletproof’- Medium-sized mound of very thick, blue-green foliage; about 10” high by 24” wide with leaves just over 6” long and 4 ½” wide.
‘Bumblebee’- 19” high by 52” wide mound of heavily corrugated, gold foliage; leaves are 10 ½” long by 8 1/8” wide; leaves are ovate-shaped and slightly wavy; white flowers on 30” scapes in July.
‘Camelot’ - Intense blue heart-shaped leaves with excellent substance and are slug resistant. Light lavender flowers in early summer. Grows 12-15”
‘Captain Kirk’ - Dark green leaves with heavier substance distinguish this sport of 'Gold Standard' from its parent. The golden leaf center contrasts nicely with the darker margin. Pale lavender flowers top the fast growing clump in midsummer. Grows 18-24”
‘Cascades’ - It forms an upright mound with the end of each leaf cascading downward. Pure white flowers top white flower stems providing perfect harmony to the landscape display. Grows 12-18”
‘Centerfold’- 21” high by 47” wide mound of heavily corrugated, unruly golden leaves that are 10” long by 7 ¾ wide; very pale lavender flowers from late June to mid-July.
‘Chain Lightning’- Medium-sized mound of white-centered, green-margined leaves; pale lavender flowers produced on creamy white scapes in July.
‘Charlotte’s Web’- Dense, 10” high mound of heavily streaked green and white foliage; leaves are 3 7/8” long by 1 7/8” wide; leaf blade is ovate-shaped and slightly wavy; has a fast growth rate.
‘Cherish’ - Features round leaves with a streaky yellow center. The center fades to near-white by midsummer when the dwarf clump is topped by tiny purple bell-shaped flowers. Grows 5-6”
‘Chesapeake Bay’- 24” high by 56” wide mound that is semi-upright with intense foliage; leaf size is 11” long by 8” wide; leaves are heavily corrugated, cupped, wavy, and ovate-shaped; near-white flowers in July on 31” scapes.
‘Choo Choo Train’ - Features thick gold leaves that are wonderfully ruffled and in time will form a majestic clump 6 feet wide by 2-feet tall. Near white flowers are produced in summer.
‘City Lights’- 27” high 55” wide mound of bright gold foliage; leaves 12 ¼” long by 9” wide; broadly ovate-shaped, cupped, and heavily corrugated; very pale lavender to near white flowers from late June to mid-July on 31”scapes.
‘Climax’ - Thick corrugated dark green leaves are edged by a bright gold border. 'Climax' has the same wonderful upright habit as 'High Noon'. Lavender flowers top the clump in early summer. Grows 20-24”
‘Cloud Burst’- 16” high by 33” wide mound of unruly, moderately corrugated, blue-green foliage; leaves are 8 ½” long by 7” wide with 14 vein pairs; blade broadly ovate-shaped and coming to a distinct point; pale purple flowers from late June to late July on 20-30” scapes.
‘Corkscrew’- 8” high by a 18” wide mound of twisted and curved green foliage; leaves are 6 1/8” long by 2 ¼” wide; purplish red petioles; pale purple flowers open in September on scapes that are sometimes branched.
‘Cracker Crumbs’ - This fast growing sport of 'Shiny Penny' features wavy chartreuse-yellow leaves edged with a narrow green margin. Tiny lavender flowers top the 12-inch wide clump in midsummer. Grows 5-6”
‘Cream Cheese’- Small mound of green-centered foliage with wavy margins that change from yellow to white; leaves measure 4” long by 2 5/8” wide; produces purple flowers from mid-August into September on 14” scapes.
‘Cutting Edge’ - Displays a fountain of ruffled leaf margins arched and folded to reveal their white backs. The rippled blue-green leaves are topped with lavender flowers in late summer. Grows 18-24”
‘Dance With Me’ - Yellow heart-shaped leaf is framed with a dark green margin. The heavy textured leaves are topped by pale lavender flowers in late summer. Grows 12-18”
‘Dawn’s Early Light’ - Brilliant lemon-yellow heart-shaped leaves are wonderfully ruffled and corrugated. In early summer light lavender flowers top the mound of foliage as the leaves darken to chartreuse-green. Grows 18-20”
‘Deliverance’ - The unusual pattern of the blue-green leaves show off a yellow margin on the leaf border, along with yellow stripes throughout the entire clump of leaves. Lavender flowers top the clump in early summer. Grows 12-18”
‘Dragon Tails’ - Forms a fast growing clump of long, narrow yellow leaves with a wonderful miniature wavy edge. The small clump would be equally at home in a rock garden, trough garden, or in a shaded woodland border. Lavender flowers top the clump in midsummer. Grows 5-6”
‘Dust Devil’- 23” high by 50” wide mound with leaves 9” long by 7” wide; leaf center shiny’ dark green with a margin of 12” wide and changes from creamy white to greenish yellow by midsummer; lavender flowers open on 30” scapes from late July to August.
‘Earth Angel’ - Large heart-shaped blue-green leaves have a wide creamy-white border. Pale lavender flowers top the clump in early summer. Grows 30-36”
‘Elatior’- Huge, arching and vase-shaped mound of shiny light green foliage; mound averages 31” high and 74” wide; leaf blade is ovate-shaped and 14” long by 10” wide with deeply lobed base and long distinct tip; leaves are very shiny on underside with and occasional streak of corrugation at maturity; near-white flowers on towering scapes of 71” from mid-July into August.
‘El Nino’ - Unfurls in early spring with a distinct white edge that remains white until season end. Pale lavender flowers top the clump in late summer. Grows 15-18”
‘Emerald Crown’- Dense, 16” high by 44” wide mound of deep green foliage; leaves 6 ½” by 4 ½” wide; ovate-shaped, smooth textured, slightly shiny on top, and very shiny underneath; lavender flowers in July.
‘Emerald Ruff Cut’- Medium-sized mound of gold-centered leaves with heavily rippled, dark green margins, ½” wide; mound can reach 13” high by 39” wide with leaves 8” long by 5” wide; leaf is narrowly ovate with maturity; pale lavender flowers on 28” scapes in July.
‘English Sunrise’- 16” high by 36” wide mound of foliage that is bright gold in spring, then turning light green; leaf size 8” long by 5 ½” wide; pale lavender flowers produced on 24” scapes in late July into early August.
‘Enterprise’- Medium mound about 12” high by 24” wide of white-centered, dark green-margined foliage; leaves are 6” long by 3 ¾” wide and ovate-shaped, slightly wavy and slightly corrugated; lavender flowers open on creamy white 19” scapes in July; pinkish bracts subtend the flowers.
‘Eternal Flame’ - This selection of 'Whirlwind' was named because the center variegation holds its white variegation better in the landscape. Lavender flowers top the clump in midsummer.
‘Extasy’ - The creamy-white wedged-shaped leaves of 'Extasy' are margined with a wide, blue-green edge. With its flashy variegation and upright growth habit, it is suitable for specimen use. Lavender flowers top the clump in midsummer.
‘Eye Candy’- Upright 18” high mound of foliage that has a bluish green center with a sharply contrasting, wide, white margin; leaf size 8” long by 6” wide with a ¾” wide margin; pale lavender flowers on 24” scapes in June.
‘Faith’ - Develops rounded, brassy-gold leaves with fantastic corrugation. Near-white flowers top the vigorous clump in early summer.
‘Fantasy Island’- Small mound of white-centered leaves with a wide green margin; leaf size 4 ¼” long by 3 ¼” wide; pale purple flowers produced in July.
‘Final Summation’ - This large, dark green-edged leafed hosta is a sport of the ever popular 'Sum and Substance'. The leaves are huge, round and slightly cupped. The vibrant color shows off it's dark green margin and makes this a spectacular medio-variegated hosta. Lavender flowers bloom in July.
‘Fire Island’ - The brilliant yellow leaves of 'Fire Island' are accented by light red petioles with red coloration extending into the base of the leaves. Although the intensity of the foliage lessens into the summer, the intense spring effect more than earns its keep in the garden. Lavender blooms top the clump in summer.
‘First Frost’ - The beautiful blue leaves are edged by a creamy-yellow margin that brightens to creamy-white by midsummer. Lavender flowers top the clump in late summer. This durable hosta received its name because it looks great until autumn's "first frost."
‘Fragrant Blue’ - This wonderful small hosta produces lovely near white, slightly fragrant flowers and chalky blue foliage. Has an excellent blue due to its tendency to produce new leaves throughout the growing season.
‘Fragrant Bouquet’ - This choice cultivar features apple green leaves with wide irregular yellow-white margins. Large funnel shaped, fragrant white flowers open in mid to late summer.
‘Fragrant Dream’- Leaves are green-centered with a ¼” wide margin that changes from yellow to creamy white; mound 24” high by 50” wide and leaves that are 12” long by 9” wide; fragrant, pale lavender flowers open on 40” scapes in August.
‘Friends’ – Has chartreuse foliage that brightens to yellow. The rippled leaves have a slight twist at the end. Lavender flowers with white throats top the clump in late summer.
‘Frosted Jade’ - Flat, heart-shaped, gray-green leaves with distinct white margins make 'Frosted Jade' a favorite selection. Funnel-shaped white flowers June to July.
‘Frosted Mouse Ears’- Small, dense mound of creamy white-margined foliage; leaf center starts blue-green and turns dark green by midsummer; margin begins yellow and becomes creamy white by early summer; leaves are 2 ½” long by 2 ¼” wide with 9-11 vein pairs; leaf blade broadly ovate-shaped; pale purple flowers in dense clusters on 12” scapes in early to mid-July.
‘Frosted Morn’- 16” high by 38” wide mound of slightly wavy, cupped, medium gold to chartreuse foliage; leaves 9” long by 7” wide are broadly ovate-shaped with a distinct tip and moderate corrugation; near-white flowers produced from mid-July into early August.
‘Gentle Spirit’- 9” high by 30” wide mound; leaves (6” long by 4”) wide have a dark green center with a 1/16-1/8” wide white margin; smooth texture and wavy; medium purple flowers from late August into September.
’Ginsu Knife’- Medium-sized mound of intensely rippled, wavy, white-margined, green-centered foliage; leaf 9 ½” long by 4 ¾” wide with a ¼ to ½” wide, serrated margin that changes from yellow to creamy white; margin often produces mottled area in the center; leaf is narrowly ovate-shaped and sometimes corrugated; slightly fragrant, whitish flowers produced in July.
‘Goober’- Small mound about 10” high by 24” wide of puckered, dark green foliage; purple flowers produced from mid-July into August.
‘Great Arrival’- Large mound of thick, gold-margined foliage; mound size 26” high by 50” wide with leaves 13” long by 10” wide; leaf center changes from blue-green to dark green as growing season progresses; margin is ½ to ¾” wide and begins bright gold changing to creamy white; leaf blade is broadly ovate-shaped and heavily corrugated; near-white flowers produced in dense clusters from late June into mid-July on 24-30” scapes.
‘Great Expectations’ - Beautiful large yellow puckered leaves are edged by wide, irregular margins of blue and light green. Clusters of white flowers midsummer.
‘Grecian Vase’- Medium large mound 18” high by 53” wide of chartreuse foliage with leaves 10 ½” long by 8 ½” wide; leaf is broadly-ovate with a deeplu lobed base, slightly rippled margin, long, curled tip.
‘Guardian Angel’ - The sight of the majestic size and beauty of a mature 'Guardian Angel' is one of the thrills of the spring garden. Large blue-green leaves are ruffled and folded, and centered with a grayish-ivory variegation pattern most intense in the spring. In time the clump is capable of reaching 6 feet, and is topped in early midsummer with pale lavender flowers; perfect for a prized specimen spot in the lightly shaded landscape.
‘Hacksaw’ - Deviating from the traditional leaf shape in hostas, 'Hacksaw' displays long, tapered, light green leaves that are intensely rippled and lightly serrated on the leaf margins. With its incredibly vigorous growth rate and smaller plant habit, 'Hacksaw' lends itself for use as an edging plant. It has masses of lavender flowers top the clump in mid to late summer and exhibits good sun tolerance resulting in a lighter leaf color.
‘Hadspen Blue’ - This hosta has wonderful, thick, heavily textured powdery blue leaves. Lavender flowers above the heart-shaped leaves in midsummer.
‘Happy Valley’- 18” high by 49” wide, semi-upright mound of shiny, dark green-centered, creamy yellow to white-margined foliage; leaf is 9” long by 5” wide with a ¼” margin; leaf is ovate-shaped, moderately wavy, slightly corrugated; pale purple flowers from mid-August into September.
‘Harriette Ward’- 30” high by 60” wide mound of large, bright gold foliage; leaves 14” long by 10” wide, broadly ovate-shaped, moderately corrugated, sometime cupped; very pale lavender flowers from mid-June into early July on 30-36” scapes.
‘Hida-No-Hana’- Green leaf color margined with a light greenish gold center and is often green streaked; has a large mound size; leaves are ovate-shaped and distinctly wavy.
‘Hideout’- Tall mound of curly, white-centered, dark green-margined foliage; pale purple flower in July.
‘High Tide’ - It features a nice compact clump, of frosty blue-green, heart-shaped leaves. Pretty lavender flowers open on 20 inch scapes in late summer.
‘Hollywood Lights’ - The handsome, large, arching dark green leaves of 'Hollywood Lights' are accented by a yellow flare in the center of the leaf. The dome-shaped leaves form a large clump, and are topped by arching scapes of pale lavender flowers in midsummer.
‘Holy Mouse Ears’- Small, dense mound of white-centered, bluish green-margined foliage; leaf center changes from gold to creamy white during the growing season; purple flowers open in dense clusters in early July.
‘Hush Puppie’ - This incredibly vigorous Hosta venusta hybrid features tiny, heart-shaped gray-green leaves edged with a creamy-white margin. Because of its diminutive size and rapid growth rate, it is suitable for edging garden paths, borders and landscape use. Dark lavender flowers top the clump in early summer.
‘Hot Spur’- Upright, medium-sized mound of red-petioled foliage that is from creamy yellow to white in the center with a green margin.
‘Ice Prancer’ - This seedling of Hosta 'Reptillian' features very think wedge-shaped frosty blue leaves with beautiful ripples along the margin and an exaggerated leaf tip. With its slug resistant foliage, architectural beauty and grace it is a welcome addition to even the most discerning hosta collector. Light lavender flowers top the clump in midsummer.
‘Inniswood’ - It produces bright gold heart-shaped leaves bordered with a wide deep green margin, heavy texture and corrugation. Lavender flowers top the clump in midsummer.
‘Invincible’ - This variety has shiny glossy foliage which is sun tolerant. An incredibly rapid grower; fragrant light lavender flowers top the clump in late summer.
‘Itsy Bitsy Spider’- Miniature mound is 2 ½” high by 6” wide; dark green foliage with pale lavender flowers in midsummer.
‘Ivory Coast’- Creamy white margin 1 ½” to 2” that starts as yellow; leaf center is bluish to dark green; 21” high by 38” wide mound with leaves 10 ¾” long by 9 3/8” wide; lavender flowers in July.
‘Jimmy Crack Corn’ - Displays large gold leaves with deeply impressed veins. The leaves are margined with a wonderful piecrust edge. 'Jimmy Crack Corn' will form a large clump with its leaves held horizontally; near white flowers above the foliage in early summer.
‘Journey’s End’ - This sport from 'Choo- Choo Train' produces large heart-shaped leaves with a gently ruffled edge. The yellow-gold leaves display several shades of green where the wide dark green margin bleeds into the gold center. Pale lavender flowers open above the 6-foot clump of foliage in midsummer. Filtered shade or morning light draws the richest colors from the plant.
‘June’ – Gold centered foliage with a wide blue-green margin. Bluish lavender flowers are produced in late July. 18” tall by 36” wide with 6” by 4” foliage.
‘Kaleidocrome’- 10” high by 22” wide mound; streaked and mottled leaves 5” long and 2 ½” wide are green with large sectors of creamy white and golden yellow; leaves are narrowly ovate; pale purple flowers in August on 15” scapes.
‘Key West’ – Very large mound of medium gold foliage; 37” high by 88” wide with leaves 16” long by 11” wide; near-white flowers from late June into mid-July.
‘Komodo Dragon’ - Matures as a large, vase-shaped mound of neatly rippled, dark green foliage; 28” high by 72” wide, semi-upright mound of moderately rippled, dark green foliage; 15” long by 11” wide leaves with slight corrugation, good substance, and a thick underside bloom; pale lavender flowers from late June into late July.
‘Limey Lisa’ – Small, dense mound (6” high by 21” wide) of heart-shaped, green leaves; early leaf color of chartreuse that turns to medium green; leaves are 2” long by 1 ½ wide; semi-bell-shaped medium purple flowers that bloom in July.

‘Majestic’- Medium-large mound of foliage that is yellow-margined with a shiny, dark green center; margin is one inch on a 10” by 5 ¾ “ leaf; leaf blade is narrowly ovate-shaped, slightly wavy, and shiny on the underside; 21” high by 42” wide with pale lavender flowers from early July into August.
